A word about Certified Parent Peer Specialist (CPPS) Trainings:

CPPS trainings are on hold due to the current revision of the CPPS curriculum. Once the curriculum and exam are fully revised later in 2023, it will go through an approval process with DHS & trainings will be scheduled again shortly thereafter. We understand the wait for this revision has taken time and we want to stay accountable to the workforce, to those who are following our progress, and our community partners seeking much needed CPPS employees to fill vacancies within their organizations & communities. This CPPS manual revision will be completely new manual and we are enthusiastic about the improvements a complete overhaul in the manual will bring. We are dedicated to nurturing and growing a quality CPPS workforce, committed to the values peers support specialists hold themselves to so dearly, such as informed consent, self-determination, equity, and mutuality to develop meaningful and healthy relationships with the peers supported.

Thank you for your patience while we continue in this labor of love, we are doing the best we can to develop and to bring forth a manual we can all be proud of!
