Wisconsin Peer Specialist (CPS) Certification Exams
You must have successfully completed the state-approved Peer Specialist Training in order to apply to take the Certification Exam. You may apply to take an exam within one year of your training completion date.

CPS exams are capped at 150 participants statewide per exam date. Online/remote 2024-25 upcoming CPS exams are scheduled for:
September 25, 2024 – (Application deadline: Payment, application, and an uploaded or mailed training Certificate of Completion must be submitted or postmarked by August 28th, 2024)November 13, 2024 – (Application deadline: Payment, application, and an uploaded or mailed training Certificate of Completion must be submitted or postmarked by October 16th, 2024)- January 15, 2025 – (Application deadline: Payment, application, and an uploaded or mailed training Certificate of Completion must be submitted or postmarked by December 11th, 2024)

- March 19, 2025 – (Application deadline: Payment, application, and an uploaded or mailed training Certificate of Completion must be submitted or postmarked by February 19th, 2025)
- May 7, 2025 – (Application deadline: Payment, application, and an uploaded or mailed training Certificate of Completion must be submitted or postmarked by April 9th, 2025)
- September 24, 2025 – (Application deadline: Payment, application, and an uploaded or mailed training Certificate of Completion must be submitted or postmarked by August 27th, 2025)
