Jonathan P. Edwards, Ph.D., LCSW, ACSW, NYCPS, facilitates a conversation on how the model of “the 5 critical functions of supervision” centers building connection.

Jonathan P. Edwards consults nationally on peer support implementation and workforce development. He credits long-term recovery as the driving force behind his scholarship, profession, and worldview. Jonathan serves on the National Association of Peer Supporters (N.A.P.S.) Board, New York Peer Specialist Certification Board, and Mental Health News Education Board. He has also received training on addressing anti-Black racism from the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond and has organized several conferences and initiatives promoting racial and health equity in his professional and community organizing roles.
