“CPS/CPPS Recruitment and Retention” – May 2022 Supervisor’s CPS & CPPS Community of Practice
May 2022 Supervisors of CPS & CPPS Community of Practice:
“CPS/CPPS Recruitment and Retention” ~ May 26th, 2022 from 1:30pm-3pm CT
Facilitator: Marguerit, WIPSEI Peer Specialist Community Workforce Development Coordinator at Access to Independence
Marguerit is passionate about peer support in Wisconsin and places great confidence in the core competencies and scope of practice in which peer support is built upon here. Principles such as empathy, mutuality, curiosity, co-learning, and self-determination are not only a framework for her but she genuinely chooses to live these principles in her daily life. Marguerit contributes her ongoing personal recovery and lived experience as the catalysts that have led her to this work and continues to fan the flame of compassion for others. In her personal time, Marguerit loves laughing with her family, welcomes deep and meaningful conversations, is motivated by beauty and appreciates a sunrise walk by the lake, and enjoys reading and researching thought-provoking information.
This Supervisors of CPS & CPPS Community of Practice Session is a explorational conversation about employee recruitment and retention. Marguerit will explore how we, as supervisors can advocate for higher pay and better opportunities for our CPS workforce during this nuanced time many are calling the Great Resignation.
