WIPSEI’s Community Building Project is excited to support the work Victor Kilpatrick is doing in the area that addresses challenges & success of veteran reintegration into civilian society. This session will prepare peers to practice greater awareness from a Disabled Veteran Perspective. Join us in this opportunity to grow and learn from Levi Marker!
Levi Marker served with 173rd Airborne in Afghanistan as a 240 gunner at Out-Post Keating. Levi served six-years in the United States Army honorably. After leaving from the Army, Levi needed a purpose and commodore. He struggled with not being able to make a human connection or form relationships leading to isolation. After going through rock bottom moments, Levi found the Dryhootch, peer support, and a veteran who served in Iraq and was about to bond a connection. Both Levi and the veteran created a bond through shared experiences. Levi is now the Director of Operations for Milwaukee Dryhootch. Levi established himself as a Peer Support Specialist in 2018 and is certified in QRF.
