WIPSEI’s Community Building Project is excited to support the work Victor Kilpatrick is doing in the area that addresses challenges & success of veteran reintegration into civilian society. This session will prepare peers to practice greater awareness from a Female Veteran Perspective. Join us in this opportunity to grow and learn from Barbara Robinson!
Barbara Robinson – I am female military veteran who served 23 years in the military. I am the mother of three sons, ages 45, 46 and 49. I have one (1) granddaughter and one (1) great grandson. I am married and I am a retired Police Officer. I have a passion for people especially those who are less fortunate. I grew up in a family with my parents, three (3) sisters and three (3) brothers. My father instilled in us to work for what we want in our life. My father was also in the military as well as one of my brothers and a one of my sisters. My father is an Entrepeneur and has owned two (2) bowling alleys in Milwaukee for over 40 years. I enjoy and love my family.
I am a certified Massage Therapist, Certified Peer Specialist, Grant writer, Tax-Preparer and a Small Business Owner of the ATAP Center which stands for All Things Are Possible.
I will be sharing my story of my life as I also tell you how I reintegrated from the military back to civilian life.
