WRAP, violate the Copyright and do not represent the evidence-based model as so
clearly outlined in the Facilitator Manual. This continues to be a grave
concern. Unfortunately, when people have modified the Mental Health
Recovery and WRAP program, they have, far too often, changed, misinterpreted,
deleted and fundamentally altered the work so that it is no longer powerful and
effective and does not accurately represent the findings of Dr. Copeland's
intensive long-term studies.
People facing mental health and other life challenges deserve the best there is as they
seek recovery, wellness, and a fulfilling life. They deserve the original
materials, researched, developed, written, published, and updated by Dr.
Copeland and her associates. These are the resources that were used in the
studies that prove the efficacy of WRAP, that prove that
WRAP is an evidence-based practice.
