Beginning in 2014 there will be three State Approved Peer Specialist Training Curriculums to qualify individuals to take the WI Peer Specialist Certification Exam.
They are as follows:
- National Association of Peer Specialists (NAPS)
-Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA)
-Recovery Opportunity Center (ROC/RI)
The Consumer as Provider (CAP) curriculum has been removed. All individuals who have successfully passed a CAP training through 2013 will be eligible to take the Peer Specialist Certification exam through 2014.
